    Dr. Yassa is the Division Chief of Vascular Surgery, Vein, Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine at Frederik and Lena Meijer Heart Center in Grand Rapids, MI and served as the Associate Program Director for the Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency and Fellowship programs. She serves on the executive board of the Michigan Vascukar Society and the International Society of Women in Vasvukar Surgery (ISWVS). She joined the team at Corewell Health 13 years ago as a board certified General and Vascular Surgeon after Medical School at MSU and training in Iowa and New Jersey.
    She specializes in Advanced Open and Endovascular Aortic Surgery for aneurysm and dissection related pathology as well as other occlusive disease
    She is passionate about mentorship and helping develop leadership skills in men and women in all stages of their careers and life.
