    Dr. Spada is a PGY-4 General Surgery resident at ChristianaCare Hospital in Newark, Delaware, with plans to pursue fellowship training in Vascular Surgery. A lifelong resident of the New Jersey, Delaware, and Philadelphia region, he earned his medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2023.

    His clinical and academic interests include complex aortic disease, advanced endovascular techniques, peripheral arterial disease, and trauma vascular surgery. His research has focused on aortic and endovascular interventions, limb revascularization, and resuscitation strategies in traumatic hemorrhage.

    Prior to surgical residency, Dr. Spada practiced as a physical therapist and currently serves as a Medical Officer in the New Jersey Army National Guard. These experiences have helped shape his approach to multidisciplinary patient care, leadership, and surgical decision-making. He is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and Delaware Valley Vascular Society and has presented research involving complex vascular pathology and innovative endovascular techniques.

    Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and following Philadelphia sports. Most importantly, he enjoys making memories with his wife and their two young children.
